E.B. Smith Lumber is a family owned operating business. The history dates back 4 generations where it originated in Brownsville, TN.. E.B. Smith Lumber has been serving their customers since 1966. We originally specialized in all the hardwoods; however, with the growing popularity of cypress, we have began to concentrate primarily on this species.


We are located at 18946 LA Hwy 190 Port Barre,La 70577. The Cypress Depot and E.B. Smith Lumber Co. are committed to obtaining the highest possible yield from each piece of lumber. We start with the Log and end with the finished product, so we are able to say that every inch of the tree is accounted for. We sell most of our waste for fuel.
